HistoryValley Tire & Brake was founded by John McGill Jr. in 1968. After working a year for one of the major tire companies John decided that profit and greed were being placed ahead of customer satisfaction…..Valley Tire & Brake was born from that idea. Raised in Santa Rosa as a third generation Sonoma County resident John’s community roots go deep as do his children’s and his grandchildren’s (now fifth generation Santa Rosans). Valley Tire started as a two person shop with one free loaner car and has grown over the last 40 years to include 42 of the finest automotive service staff anywhere and 45 Free Courtesy Cars. Beside the well known tire, brake, and front services there are now engine maintenance, repair, and smog services. Right across the street is our RV and truck department, muffler and exhaust department, and the nicest fast oil change around, Valley Fast Oil & Lube.
