Fuel SystemsFrom the gas station nozzle to the inside of your engine, where it explodes, the fuel (gas or diesel) travels through some complicated equipment. Lots of things happen to the fuel and each part is critical. Fuel pumps (usually in your gas tank), fuel lines, filters, computer controls, meters, valves, pumps, regulators, injectors, and nozzles all do things to your fuel to get it to the motor on time to explode and send you on your way. Each component of your fuel system is very important to how your vehicle operates and important to the technicians at our Engine Maintenance Department.
